So if you are looking for a new bike here is a quick guide of things you necessity to know

If you are new to the sport I recommend you get a road bike, not a tri bike. The nature is the position the bike puts you in and the handlebars it comes with. Getting a street bike gives you more versatility, and entry level approach bikes are cheaper then entry level tri bikes. Also street bikes offer easier handling skills over triathlon bikes.

So first and most noteworthy is size. Here is a chart that shows the general range you would need. But I would always recommend test riding a bike before buying. Out of the ordinary bikes tend to feel differently.
